Back to School Goal: Give now to help young patients thrive!

To honor the Hospital School's 100 years of helping patients learn and grow, help us reach our goal: be one of 100 donors to make a gift by midnight on Friday, August 30.

Alice and Arthur Liu have generously offered to match all donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000, until August 30!

Your tax-deductible donation will help provide year-round support for kids in treatment, and can help purchase items that encourage their continuous learning and development.

Tyler began life in the neonatal ICU. He’s now starting seventh grade.

After Tyler was born with what amounted to half a heart due to a rare congenital heart defect, he was rushed to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. He has spent much of his young life in the hospital and has undergone many procedures—including a recent successful heart transplant at our Betty Irene Moore Children’s Heart Center.

To help kids like Tyler cope with the challenges of illness and hospitalization, we offer a range of supportive patient-centered programming, like the on-site Hospital School. The Hospital School allows young patients to get the care they need without worrying about falling behind academically.

Tyler’s mom Jennie praises the Hospital School as “a wonderful resource where he can take a break from his medical journey and find educational outlets. The students are treated with the utmost respect and support.”

Thanks to donors like you, more sick kids like Tyler can get much-needed care and support while in the hospital.
